Residents of Amarillo, it is possible to obtain a license to carry without fuss. Taking the Texas LTC online training is the best way to go about it. We are the official provider of the online class for concealed carry in Amarillo, Texas.

To obtain a license to carry in Amarillo, you need to be 18 years old. It used to be 21 years of age, but a new federal court ruling lifted the ban on adults of 18 to 20 years to carry in public. This is a great leap forward for younger adults to demonstrate their second amendment rights.

On our end, we have made the online training concise and easily understand for those who are new to firearms.

Once you have completed the class, you will be able to apply for your license at the local DPS office. We make it easy for you to get the license that you need so that you can feel safe and protected.

LTC Certificate of Training

Having a license to carry in public gives you a better for self-defense in public. Unlicensed carry is not allowed in public places, this is one of the reasons to obtain your license to carry.

To obtain a license to carry, you must have completed the training approved by the Texas Department of Public Safety. We offer the official training as approved by the DPS in our online class, and we have a facility for range tests in Amarillo.

Upon the completion of the training, you will receive the certificate of training which you are going to present to Texas DPS. Note that you cannot obtain a license to concealed carry without a certificate of training.

The online classes were curated by our licensed instructors. They are trained professionals and are recognized by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The sessions in this course are clear and concise, they were carefully explained so that those who are new to firearms can understand them fast. From marksmanship to firearm storage, and dispute resolution, you will learn everything you need to learn.

The online class is always available and can be accessed across several devices. This is so that you can have self-paced training. Whether you are home or away, you can continue to take your classes unhindered.

The class is 4 to 6 hours long, and we have divided it into 20 minutes sessions. This is so that it can easily fit into your tight schedule. Furthermore, the online class autosaves, so you can pick up from where you left off.

You will learn all there is to learn about firearms usage and safety practices. After you have completed the online training, you can schedule a time to come to our facility in Amarillo to have a live-fire session, then we issue you the certificate

Highly recommend!! If you have no previous knowledge or experience; have no fear Gary will make sure you understand, are comfortable and can protect those you love. If you’re familiar with the laws and handguns; you too will walk away knowing more than you came knowing. Absolutely wonderful. There is always a catch when giving ratings but there is nothing negative I can say. The only thing I have to say is that you definitely have to be knowledgeable of gun. I.e. knowing how to load and shoot, I am definitely a beginner but I knew enough to get my license. I was very worried because im not a professional, but the teacher was very helpful, kind, and well worth it.

If you’re like me and have about a million things going on, the online LTC is the way to go. The instructor is not some mono-toned robot trying to teach you pew-pew tactics, this guy knows his stuff and how to articulate it. He’s clear/concise and helps you understand and bring things to a level to help push you along through what you need to know, vs pulling you through. One of the most effective, informative, and useful classes I have ever taken, and I spent 20 years in the Marines. Vets, active duty, or anyone who has taken a mandatory class: imagine spending over 1/2 a day in a classroom and NOBODY is bored. I can honestly say that I left impressed! Its a great learning environment. Gary was a great instructor, and made learning gun safety and laws enjoyable. I really enjoyed his teaching style. Our family had an absolutely amazing experience. We had a mixed group of shooters ranging from retired military to those who have never shot a handgun before. The class offered something for each and everyone of us. Gary was very very patient and worked with every shooter to make each feel comfortable and knowledgeable at both the classroom and range activities. I don’t think I can expand anymore on what has been said in earlier reviews. I can say that being the last of my buddies to take a concealed carry class, the main complaint has been that the classes have been incredibly dry and a chore to sit through. This is most definitely not the case with Gary. He is engaging and presents the subject matter in such a way as to keep the class interesting. He is extremely organized, knowledgeable and is a natural at teaching others. I was impressed with how he greeted each participant personally when they came through the door. Great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to obtain a concealed carry permit.

I don’t normally leave reviews but after taking this class I felt compelled to so anyone who is looking for somewhere to get their concealed carry certification can look no further! I was prepared for a long and boring day but Gary was awesome! He was funny, engaging and the day went by so much faster than I was expecting. I can’t say enough good things about Gary! This was an amazing course with an awesome instructor. I have anxiety and I was nervous all the way up until I walked in the door. Gary really made it a comfortable environment and asking questions was encouraged. As a class, we laughed a lot, but we also knew to take the information seriously. I came home raving about how I’d be willing to go back even if a friend was going and I was just along for the ride. It really was a great class. In today’s world, everyone who’s even thinking about the class, should go ahead and take it. 10/10 recommend this class.

Both my father and I took his course on my father's 50th birthday. It was kinda funny because I paid for us both and my father wasn't to excited. Only because he didn't think he need a concealed carry license. However, thanks to Gary's teachings, knowledge and personality made the day a great experience. My husband and I took the concealed carry class, and we couldn't be MORE satisfied with our instructor! Gary commands the subject matter while making you laugh. Made the decision to get my License to Carry a handgun. That was the easy part.
